李自翔 Exploring topological ordered phase in Rydberg atoms array 2021/10/13

Quantum spin liquid is an exotic phase of matter with intrinsic topological order, which has been a major focus of explorations in condensed matter physics for the past several decades.   In this talk, I will lead a discussion about a novel platform of Rydberg atoms array[1] to explore such exotic phase. I will first introduce the recent theoretical idea about realizing the physics of quantum dimer model [2][3], known as an exactly solvable model of spin liquid, in the platform of Rydberg atoms array. Then I will discuss some recent experimental progresses in this direction[4].
