Title: Quantum Computation with Rydberg Atoms

Abstract: I will give an introduction about the Rydberg quantum computation platform. Based on the view of the hardware architecture, I will discuss about the recent progress and the significant difference of Rydberg platform comparing to the other hardware.

Short bio: 胡嘉仲教授于2011年本科毕业于清华大学物理系，随即前往麻省理工大学攻读物理博士学位，于2017年博士毕业。胡嘉仲教授从2019年入职清华大学担任助理教授，随后于2020年担任副教授。胡嘉仲教授的研究方向为超冷原子和量子信息，及基于冷原子实验平台进行量子技术的开发和研究：包括量子模拟多体系统、量子多体纠缠的制备、量子气体显微镜的研究。
