Entanglement entropy and its measurement.
Entanglement entropy is one well-known quantity to describe the entanglement of two systems, and can be employed to explore the phase transitions, critical behaviors, topological properties, and etc. . In this talk, I will first introduce the basic formalism of entanglement entropy and behaviors in various system. Then I will focus on a variety of measurements designed for experiments and numerical simulation. Simple derivations is displayed to show the relation between entanglement entropy and other physical observables. To conclude, the talk aims to increase one's understanding on the entanglement entropy, and further contribute to the research.
