Classical simulation for capturing hydrodynamic transport

Transport properties are among the most experimentally accessible and practically important features of materials. Deriving the transport coefficient in strongly interaction many-body system is notoriously difficult. Established methods(like ED,TEBD) limited by system size or simulation time. In this talk, I will introduce dissipation-assisted operator evolution(DAOE) method which can overcome fast entanglement growth, allowing us to follow the dynamics to long times. This allows us to estimate the a spin or energy diffusion constant through extrapolation. I will also talk about backflow processes, help us understand systematic errors for DAOE methods.
